PUTTER REFURB UK · NORTH WALES

The Workshop

This is where every putter is refurbished. No factory and no production line: one workshop in North Wales, where every job across that bench is handled by Nathan personally.

The main workbench at Putter Refurb UK: prep, paintfill and assembly area

The bench.

Where every job starts and finishes. Stripping, prep, paintfill and final assembly all happen here, along with the photographs you receive while your putter is with me.

The compressor under the bench drives the finishing equipment, and the paintfill blocks you can see on the benchtop are mixed per job. There are thousands of possible colour combinations.

Blast cabinet and polishing motors used for putter refinishing

Blasting & polishing.

The blast cabinets strip a putter back to bare metal without touching its geometry: loft, lie and face milling stay exactly as the manufacturer intended.

Every putter that comes in for refurbishment crosses this bench, whether that means deburring, polishing or a brushed steel finish. Different wheels and compounds take a head from blasted matte through to a full mirror polish.

Putter shafts and grips racked in the Putter Refurb UK workshop

Shafts & grips, ready to fit.

Replacement shafts and grips racked and ready: KBS and Stability shafts, SuperStroke and Golf Pride grips among them. If your refurb includes an upgrade, it is fitted right here as part of the job.

See the shaft options and grip brands for what can be fitted with your refurb.

Watch the work happen.

Work-in-progress shots, fresh finishes and before-and-afters go up on Instagram as they leave the bench.
